Summary
Loose Ends is an Android puzzle game published by aminhanifm. It does not require a developer-operated account. Gameplay progress, completion times, and settings are stored locally. Optional leaderboards use a user's Google Play Games profile after sign-in. Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform may process device, advertising, diagnostic, and interaction data to provide ads and privacy choices.
Information stored on the device
The game may store the following information locally:
- unlocked levels and best completion times;
- scores, Thread Tokens, streaks, and theme unlocks;
- sound, music, vibration, motion, and visual preferences; and
- tutorial and gameplay progress.
The developer does not receive this locally stored information. It remains until the user clears the game's storage or uninstalls the game, subject to Android backup and restore behavior controlled by the user's device and Google account settings.
Advertising and information processed by Google
Loose Ends uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide banner, interstitial, rewarded, and app-open advertisements. Google's User Messaging Platform manages advertising privacy choices where required.
Depending on region, device settings, and consent choices, Google may process:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- app and advertisement interactions, including launches, taps, and ad views;
- diagnostic information about SDK performance and stability; and
- device or account identifiers, including advertising and app-set identifiers.
Google states that this information may be used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention and is encrypted in transit. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Google Play Games and leaderboards
Loose Ends uses Google Play Games Services for optional highest-level, endless-score, and clean-streak leaderboards. The game may attempt silent platform authentication. If authentication is unavailable, all core puzzles remain playable without signing in. An interactive Google sign-in or Play Games profile flow is requested only when the user chooses a leaderboard feature.
When sign-in succeeds, Google may process the user's Play Games player ID, display name, avatar, game activity, and submitted leaderboard scores. Loose Ends does not request an email-address scope and does not operate a separate account database. Google handles this information under its privacy policy and the user's Google Play Games and Google Account settings.
Privacy and advertising choices
Where required, the game asks for advertising privacy choices before requesting advertisements. When required for the user's region, the Privacy screen provides a way to reopen Google's privacy options. Users can also manage or reset the Android advertising ID in device privacy settings. Ads may continue in a limited or non-personalized form where permitted.
Google Play Games sign-in can be cancelled without blocking core gameplay. Play Games profile and activity controls are available through Google Play Games or the user's Google Account.
How information is shared
The developer does not directly sell personal information. Advertising information may be shared with Google and participating advertising partners to provide, measure, secure, and improve advertising. Play Games information is processed by Google to authenticate players, submit scores, and display leaderboards.
Advertisements may link to third-party websites, apps, or services. Those services operate under their own privacy policies. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable law.
Data retention and deletion
To delete local Loose Ends data, open Android Settings, select Apps, select Loose Ends, then clear storage; uninstalling the game also removes its local data. These actions do not automatically delete information already processed independently by Google, such as leaderboard scores or advertising records.
To request deletion of information under the developer's control, email aminhanif24@gmail.com with the subject Loose Ends data deletion request. Include only the information needed to explain the request. Support messages are retained only as long as needed to answer the request, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal duties.
Because Loose Ends does not create a developer-operated account or maintain a persistent player-identity database, the developer may be unable to identify data held independently by Google. In that case, the developer will explain the relevant Google Play Games, advertising, and Google Account deletion controls. Google retains and deletes its data according to its own policy, account controls, and legal duties.
Security
Local progress uses Android app-private storage. Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Loose Ends is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their country. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information can use the contact details below to request review and deletion where applicable.
International processing
Google and its advertising partners may process information in countries other than the user's country. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards used for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
If the game's data practices change, this policy and its effective date will be updated at this same public URL before a version with materially different practices is distributed.
