Summary
BlinkGrid works entirely offline and does not require an account. The game does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking, social-login, cloud-service, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. It does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data.
Information stored on the device
BlinkGrid stores a small amount of game data locally on the Wear OS device:
- haptic-feedback and Zen difficulty preferences;
- total sessions, answered rounds, correct answers, and recent round results;
- best Quick Play and Speed Round scores and streaks; and
- Daily Grid completion date, completion count, and current and longest streaks.
This data is stored with Android DataStore in the game's private app storage. It is used only to provide settings, statistics, difficulty progression, and Daily Grid features on that device.
Information collection and sharing
BlinkGrid does not operate a developer-controlled server and does not collect personal information, gameplay data, diagnostics, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or location data. Nothing stored by the game is sent to the developer or shared with another company.
Network access and third-party services
BlinkGrid does not request the Android Internet permission and does not make network connections. It has no account system, cloud synchronization, phone companion, online leaderboard, advertising service, analytics service, or remote configuration. Gameplay and the Daily Grid are generated locally on the watch.
Android permissions and device access
BlinkGrid does not request access to contacts, files, photos, location, camera, microphone, notifications, nearby devices, health data, advertising identifiers, or accessibility services. The game uses standard Wear OS display, touch, and optional haptic capabilities only to provide gameplay.
Distribution and purchases
BlinkGrid contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions and does not integrate the Google Play Billing library. If BlinkGrid is offered as a paid download, Google Play processes the store transaction under Google's own terms and privacy policy. BlinkGrid does not receive or store payment-card or payment-account details.
Android backup and device transfer
Android cloud backup and device-transfer extraction are disabled for BlinkGrid. Locally stored game settings and statistics are not intentionally copied to a cloud backup or transferred to another device by the game.
Data retention and deletion
Settings and statistics remain in private app storage until they are changed, statistics are reset from within the game, the game's app data is cleared through Android settings, or BlinkGrid is uninstalled. Because there is no account or developer-controlled server, there is no remote profile or server record to delete.
Security
Local data is protected by Android's application sandbox and the device's security controls. No storage method can guarantee absolute security; users should protect their watch with an appropriate screen lock and keep Wear OS up to date.
Children's privacy
BlinkGrid is a general-audience puzzle game. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults because the game does not collect personal data.
Changes to this policy
If the game's data practices change, the publisher will update this policy and its effective date before distributing a version with materially different practices.
